The Sentiero Valtellina is one of Italy’s best-loved cycle paths: 114 km, almost entirely flat, following the Adda river from Colico on Lake Como all the way to Bormio. The final kilometres run through Valdisotto — right by Condhotel Fanti — so you can start or finish your ride practically from the door.

The route
The path links Colico to Bormio along the Adda for about 114 km, with minimal elevation gain: suitable for families, children and casual cyclists, not just riders tackling the Stelvio and Gavia. It crosses vineyards, orchards and the valley’s main towns (Sondrio, Tirano) before climbing into Alta Valtellina.
The final stretch, from Valdisotto to Bormio
In its last kilometres the route enters Valdisotto — where Condhotel Fanti is located — and continues on a shared road for about 10 km to Bormio, ending at the Pentagono sports hall. It’s the ideal spot for our guests: ride into the heart of Valtellina without touching the car, or finish a tour that started in Colico or Tirano.
